Puffins (Atlantic puffin) Bird

Puffins (Atlantic puffin) small species of alcids (auks) in the bird genus Fratercula with a brightly coloured beak during the breeding season. These are pelagic seabirds that feed primarily by diving in the water. It is found in the North Atlantic Ocean.

Their short wings are adapted for swimming with a flying technique under water. In the air, they beat their wings rapidly (up to 400 times per minute) in swift flight, often flying low over the ocean's surface.

AURORA

Arctic Circle, Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) and Antarctic Circle, Aurora Australis (Southern Lights)

An Aurora, sometimes referred to as a polar light, is a natural light display in the sky, predominantly seen in the high latitude regions.

Northern latitudes, Arctic Circle, aurora borealis (or the northern lights)

The aurora borealis, or northern lights, appears when solar wind particles collide with air molecules in the earth's atmosphere, transferring their energy into light.

Southern counterpart, Antarctic Circle, aurora australis (or the southern lights), has features that are almost identical to the aurora borealis and changes simultaneously with changes in the northern auroral zone.
